All right, it's not really until after Friday's classes but still...

 

Haven't updated on here... don't know why I should anyways since none of my peeps use MSN back home... no one comes to this site anyways...anywho...

 

About a month into the semester this week... ohhhhhh, learned how to ride the motorcycle here... muahahah... yep... Di on wheels... er... well, it would be nice to have my own motorcycle... then again, I heard daddy just bought one back in the states not too long ago... so who knows... maybe I'll take that one out for a ride one of these days... hehe... AFTER I get my license of course... lolx.  [If you think it might be scary to have me on the roads here in Taiwan... watch out Frisko!]

 

Nothing new to update on... i'ma head down to Tai Chung to visit Er Jie on Sunday... will be my first time there... excited... I'll remember to bring a camera and take lots of pics [per requested by people]

 

So i heard that it SNOWED up in HUMBOLDT... NOOOOO!!!!  Not fair!  All the good stuff happen when I'm gone!!  Now it prolly won't snow there again till I'm like 90... grrrr...

 

Ok, time for bed... 2 tests tomorrow... *sigh*  Poor Di... =\

I know I haven't really updated on here... [I dunno how many people check on here...]  just been reverting back to my xanga entries.

 

So I visited San Xia this weekend... and on the one hour bus ride back to Pan Chiao, I had loads of time to think.

 

Even though I've lived in San Francisco for the most part of my life, it doesn't feel like home to me.  No matter how many times I come back to visit... it feels like I'm a tourist... a visitor... an outsider looking in.  What's ironic is that everywhere else I visit feels like home...

 

I have a home in Humboldt with my aunt and cousins...I have a home in France with my cousins... and I have numerous homes here in Taiwan with my family and friends...

 

So why is it I don't feel like I'm at home in SF?  In a place where I grew up, where my immediate family lives?

 

Ironic, ain't it?

Ok, yes I know this is PINK... seriously... people who know me... before this year... have you EVER seen me in pink?  First for everything eh?  [only cuz lavender doesn't look nice on clothing wise...]  so STOP making fun of my pink!  =D  [It's just a phase, I swear!]

 

Anywho... we switched 2 out of 3 teachers... and dayam... my teacher for 1st class was scary... very intimidating... [long story...]

 

It seems writing class will be more interesting now... hopefully we'll get to write our own stuff.

 

Part of my financial aid went through so I'm good for now... hopefully my other part will go through ok so I can get rent taken care of over there...again... must thank Nat Nat fer helping me out so fast...

 

The family feud... what can I say?  I just try to stay out of the crossfire if I can... but I seriously can't concentrate at home... so I try to do homework at school...

 

I haven't been anywhere since orientation started 3 weeks ago... keep saying I'm gonna go hang out and stuff... never do... something always comes up... homework or family... I didn't go see Er Gu like I planned and ended up ducking out of sight at home when the 'tornado' hit...

 

Hmm... on another note... I must go buy a dictionary now... for my classical lit class... oh joy... one more thing to lug around in my backpack's ever growing heaviness...

So... yes, it seems like I survived week#2!

 

I'm so incredibly relaxed right now, it's hard to believe that I was going berserks less than 24 hours ago.  I'm so glad I have about 60 hours of reprieve to catch my breath.  I had planned on going to San Xia to Er Gu's with LuLu later on tonight, but now I'm thinking maybe I should stay home and get a head start on homework.. after all, I will be reporting this week's story to the class on Thursday...

 

So what else is new?  I talked to this dude from my culture class and he's Japanese but from Conneticut [I don't think I spelled it right...]... anyways... I thought that was cool... =P

 

I try not to let homework stress me out.. most of the time anyways...but even if I finish everything I need to do by like 9pm, I still end up sleeping around 11:30pm... and getting up 6:30am... I guess I'm used to this schedule now... man... my sleep pattern is all messed up.. either that, or I just happen to need one hour less sleep!  [Yes I know... impossible for me...]

 

I ended up missing archery last night... >_<  Pooh... yes, it was because of homework... plus I had two tests today... and I bombed the first one but I think I did pretty good on the second one... I'll be sure to make Tuesday's meeting though come hell or high water... =D

 

On another note... I'm glad to notice that the deli corner stores are actually stocking heartier salads... for the last couple days I've been making my own salad... and it was nummy... if I do say so myself...but I don't think I'ma have the time or inclination to waste on making it everyday so I'll prolly just end up buying one everyday... =D  [Yes, I'm lazy like that...]  Now if I can only find that Subways people keep saying that's in front of the school... =\

 

Financial aid is finally taken care of... on my part anyways... now I'm trying to figure out how they're doing this thing... not that I'm trying to rush them, but I could prolly only hold out another couple weeks without starving myself... [hey, what'd you expect from someone that's not working?]

 

I'm seriously thinking about moving into the dorms next semester... MAYBE... or to find a place close to school... unless they let me choose my roommate(s)... that would be awesome... but is it really worth it?  Or should I just save the money for the NY trip?

Starting up this new MSN thinger for my Taiwan people... [I don't know why we don't just have one universal thing... it'll make it so much easier on me...]  I refuse to be on AIM, YAHOO AND MSN at the same time!!!  Plus, I don't have time [or the inclination] to check xanga, friendster, myspace, thefacebook AND this page... so really... it's prolly gonna be this page plus xanga from now on...

 

Starting up second week at Tai Da now... survived the first week, so hey, can't be all that bad right?  I actually finished my homework up to the point where I can go home and sleep by 10pm tonight... *gasp in shock*  Yes yes... no more staying up till 1am... [and seriously... those of you who know me... have I EVER in my LIFE stayed pass 10pm for HOMEWORK??]  Well, there's a first for everything.

 

I got the movie from Jen so it's on my USB now... and watched the first half on Amanda's comp... now I just have to do a write up for it... and I'm done!  Went ahead in my Thought and Society class... my favorite class so far.

 

Financial Aid is being a pain in the behind... literally... and now they're being really slow... thank God I'm not in the middle of nowhere in case something goes wrong...

 

I haven't been online much... pain to turn on and off the comp at home... and the connection blows [excuse my language] but unless it's the weekends, I don't have the time or patience to wait fer it to load!  So, I'm cheating and using the school's freakishly fast computer... muahahaha!

 

I feel literally cut off from my people back home... well, Nat called me last time but we didn't talk long... [hey, I can't very well call everyone... I'm not made of money!] but I do miss my APK girls... I hope everything is ok in regards to the "incident"...

 

I've been trying not to stress... trying to stay out of pressure's way... which is why I don't call home... and I avoid going home [here] as long as possible... too much drama... and I can only juggle so much at a time without letting off steam... of course if I do happen to join the archery club... heheh... hmm... that'll be a ton of help... I just hope I don't have to practice Thursdays... seriously... 9-12 classes, 2-5 class, 6-9 practice?  I DON'T think so!

 

I wanna get out over the weekends but everyone seems to have plans already... plus I'll be over in San Xia this weekend... MAYBE... I haven't spent time with Er Gu for awhile now...K- that's all for now... till my next entry... *FILL IN THE BLANK*  Later babes!
